1. General
B&B Haus Valmosa is operated by Jeroen de Bruijn. By making a reservation, the guest agrees to these terms and conditions.
2. Reservations
A reservation becomes binding once it has been confirmed by B&B Haus Valmosa. Reservations can be made by telephone, in writing or by email.
The contractual services are based on the reservation confirmation.
Rooms may only be occupied by the number of persons stated in the reservation.
Guests are not entitled to a specific room number. B&B Haus Valmosa reserves the right to allocate an equivalent room if necessary.
3. Payment
The full payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to arrival.
For bookings made within 30 days prior to arrival, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
Payment can be made by: bank transfer, debit card payment on site and cash payment.
If payment is not received on time, B&B Haus Valmosa reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
4. Cancellation policy
Cancellations can be made up to 30 days prior to arrival by the person who made the reservation. The date we receive the cancellation will be considered the cancellation date.
For cancellations between 30 and 14 days prior to arrival, 50% of the total booking amount will be charged.
For cancellations within 14 days prior to arrival or in case of a no-show, the full booking amount will be charged.
In case of early departure, no refund will be given.
We recommend taking out travel and cancellation insurance.
5. Arrival and departure
Check-in is possible between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
For later arrivals, guests must contact us in advance by phone.
Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
6. Breakfast
Breakfast is served daily between 8:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
7. House rules
Smoking is not permitted inside the building. Smoking is only allowed on balconies and the terrace.
In case of violation of the smoking policy in rooms or common areas, we reserve the right to charge an additional cleaning fee of €150.
Pets are not allowed.
Parties and excessive noise are not permitted.
We value a quiet atmosphere in the evenings. Guests are kindly requested to respect other guests between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM and to avoid noise disturbances.
Respect for other guests, the accommodation and the surroundings is expected at all times.
In cases of serious misconduct or repeated disturbances, we reserve the right to terminate the stay without refund.
8. Children
Children aged 0–2 stay free of charge when using their own travel cot including bedding.
Children aged 3 and older are charged the regular room rate.
9. Parking and bicycles
Free parking is available across the street or at public parking areas nearby.
Bicycles can be stored in the garage upon request.
10. Accessibility
The accommodation is not wheelchair accessible. The rooms are located on the first and second floors. There is no elevator available.
Guests must be able to use the stairs independently. The accommodation may therefore be less suitable for guests with limited mobility.
11. Liability
Guests are required to treat the accommodation with care and are liable for damages caused by improper use.
Any damage must be reported immediately.
B&B Haus Valmosa is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings, accidents, damages resulting from use of facilities, internet interruptions or technical failures.
Use of WiFi is at the guest’s own risk. Illegal use is not permitted.
12. Force majeure
B&B Haus Valmosa reserves the right to cancel reservations in cases of force majeure such as building damage, natural disasters or other unforeseen circumstances. No compensation can be claimed in such cases.
13. Final provisions
German law applies to all agreements. Place of jurisdiction is Cochem.
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
